GI Technicians
Three Rivers Endoscopy Center's endoscopy rooms are staffed by GI technicians and nurses
who are specially trained to assist the doctor during the "scope"
procedures. They prepare the room and equipment, draw up the medications, monitor the
patients vital signs, and assist during the procedure with the collection and proper handling of
biopsy specimens, as other numerous duties to make each procedure safe and comfortable for the patient.
