Our Reception Area
Our Reception Area is shared between Three Rivers Endoscopy Center and the Center for Digestive Health and Nutrition. The spacious room was designed to make the wait of the families of our patients as pleasant as possible. Our receptionists are trained to facilitate initial contact and to assist our patients with the intake process and registration. They are able to serve as a liaison between our patients and their families during any lengthy procedure. As you can see, we avoided using the isolated "sliding glass window" approach in our design seen in most doctor's offices. Our Reception Desk is open and actually extends out into the room somewhat to facilitate communication between our Receptionist and the patients and their families. This outward projection also gives her a better view of the entire area so that she can best monitor the situation. We do respect your privacy and have a nearby intake room where we can obtain more personal information. We even provide stationery so that family members can jot a note to a friend while waiting.
