Lester Stine, M.D.

Dr. Lester E. Stine was born in the Pittsburgh area. He received his
undergraduate degree in Human Biology from the Johns Hopkins University in
Baltimore, Maryland. He remained in Baltimore and received his medical
degree from Johns Hopkins in 1986. Dr. Stine then completed an Internal
Medicine Internship and Residency at the University Hospitals of Cleveland.
He received the Charles Carpenter Award for Clinical Excellence as a Senior
Resident. Dr. Stine's interest in liver disease took him to the University of
Pittsburgh Medical Center where he did his Fellowship in Gastroenterology
and Hepatology. Dr. Stine is Board-Certified in both Internal Medicine and
Gastroenterology. He scored in the top 10% of candidates taking the
gastroenterology boards nationwide. He is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa
Honor Society.

Dr. Stine is active on the staff of Ohio Valley Hospital, Sewickley Valley
Hospital, and Three Rivers Endoscopy Center. He is a participating physician
in PA Blue Shield and Medicare. Dr. Stine is a member of the American Medical
Association, American College of Gastroenterology, American
Gastroenterology Association and Pennsylvania Society of Gastroenterology.

Dr. Stine's interests include liver disease, gastrointestinal tumors and
therapeutic Endoscopy, including ERCP. He currently resides in Cranberry with
his wife and three children. In his leisure time, he enjoys golf, fishing,
cooking and, most of all, spending time with his family.
