Jean Fusco
Formerly Jean Gloz of Herman, PA, my wife started this life as an identical twin. Both she and her sister, Joanie, obtained their nursing degrees at Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing in Pittsburgh. I met Jean in 1968 while I was attending college at the University of Pittsburgh. She promised her parents she would finish nursing school before pursuing marriage and we married the day after she graduated - one week before I began medical school. Her nursing training helped support us while I finished my medical training - first at the University of Pittsburgh, then for four years at Duke University. When we moved to Sewickley,PA in 1977, Jean gave up her nursing career to be a full time Mom to our three children, Tim, Christy, and Joyce. All of our children have finished college and live far away, but we still reside in the same house in Osborne, PA where she continues to take great care of me.
