Three Rivers Endoscopy Center Awarded AAAHC Accreditation

Three Rivers Endoscopy Center is pleased to announce that we have again received a 3-year accreditation by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC), which means we have passed a series of rigorous and nationally recognized standards for the provision of quality health care. A 3-year accreditation is the maximum bestowed by the AAAHC. This is the fourth time in a row that Three Rivers Endoscopy Center has been honored with a full 3-year certificate of accreditation.
Everyone claims to be focused on quality but we prove it by voluntarily submitting to the close scrutiny of a nationally recognized third party. Accreditation underscores our long-standing commitment to providing the highest possible levels of quality care to the community we serve. Our status as an accredited organization allows us to convey an extra measure of confidence to our patients. With AAAHC accreditation, we demonstrate our dedication to critically evaluate our own performance and we intend to consistently uphold the principles of quality for our patients.
Health care organizations seeking accreditation by AAAHC undergo an extensive on-site, peer-based survey of its facilities and services. The process includes the close inspection of areas such as the Rights of Patients, Governance, Quality of Care, Quality Improvement, Clinical Records, Surgical Services, Laboratory Services, Occupational Health Services, Professional Improvement and many others. Established in 1979 as a private, not-for-profit organization, AAAHC has almost 30 years of seasoned expertise in developing appropriate standards and measuring performance.
