Third Annual
Celiac Seminar Successful

The Center for Digestive Health & Nutrition held its Third Annual Patient Celiac Seminar on October 16, 2008 at the Pittsburgh North Mariott in Cranberry Township. The seminar was a great success with over 300 individuals signing up to attend. Speakers included Dr. Robert Fusco, Sylvia Shuty, RN who planned the seminar, dietitian Sara Parr, RD, author Connie Sarros who has written several popular gluten-free cookbooks, Naomi Poe, CEO of Better Batter Gluten Free Flour, and Dr. Ernest Stanley. Twenty-two verdors from the U.S. and Canada were present to display their new gluten-free products. Attendee Shirley Oakes won the 50.00 gift card from Giant Eagle. All agreed that the conference was a great success and we look forward to next year.
