Telehealth visits are now available most weekdays. We are using the DOXY.ME system which is simple and convenient to use. There is no need to download software or create an account. If you or your loved ones are concerned about traveling during the COVID-19 Pandemic and your GI issues do NOT require emergent intervention and/or a physical exam, then a Telehealth visit with one of our GI Specialists may be perfect for you! Virtual visits allow patients to have a face-to-face video call with their physician while being in the comfort of their own home.
With less wait time, more immediate availability, and the same quality interaction, Telehealth is becoming a patient-preferred option for medical visits.

Virtual visits make it easy for families who live farther apart too! With the ability to have multiple callers join a secure Telehealth video call, patients’ family members can now be present for an appointment without traveling anywhere!

There is an option to do a Pre-call Test: The Pre-call button is located in the lower-left corner of the waiting room desktop webpage or the first tab option on Cellular devices. Selecting this option can help determine if your camera and audio are working properly to ensure proper equipment function prior to your visit.
Essential Requirements for a successful Telehealth Visit include:
- Reliable Internet connection
- Working camera and microphone
For Laptop and Desktop users:
- One of the following up-to-date Internet browsers is required:

- Mozilla Firefox
- Safari (Apple users: The Safari icon looks like a compass.)
- Internet Explorer is the ONLY browser that the Doxy.me platform does NOT support. Please be sure to download Google Chrome or Firefox prior to your visit!
For Smart Phone and Tablet users:

- Your system may prompt you to Allow/Enable Camera and/or Microphone. This is REQUIRED in order to participate in a Telehealth visit at our practice.
As a reminder, you will not be able to access the actual Physician’s Virtual Waiting Room until the day of your appointment. Fifteen minutes prior to the time of your actual appointment with your physician, you will receive either a text message or an email. This is based on your preference and is obtained by completing a pre-registration form. The message will contain a link that will require you to answer our COVID screening prior to gaining access to the virtual wait room. This is where you will have your video call with the physician.
